Travel Update for 2023

How is everyone? Well, I hope. It has been a good bit since my last post in 2020. Covid put a damper on travel, but I have been on several trips since then... just haven't been posting them here. This year, 2023, I got back to Mardi Gras in Mobile and New Orleans. I went on a Carnival cruise out of Port Canaveral with family and friends and did a Supernatural Convention (the TV Show) in Atlanta with family. I did Vegas in January for a work conference and a quick trip to Disney World. My 51st birthday party was in Biloxi and I am heading to Boston for a Red Sox game here at the end of August. Let me pull some photos off of Facebook for you...

Disney World 2020

Despite Covid-19, I did make it to Disney World this year - 3 times, in fact! The first trip was in January, actually before Covid-19 really became an issue and well before lockdowns came into practice. The second trip was in October not too long after Disney World had re-opened with all of the social/physical distancing and mask-mandates. None of that was too awful and we did get to see all the Halloween decorations. And now I am planning my third trip which will be in December (I'm looking forward to the Christmas decorations). Even with such a horrible year, my mid-life crisis still rears its ugly head... I'm going to Disney World!

Here are a few pics from my January and October trips:

Seeing the World

I have been very fortunate in my life in regards to family, friends and travel. This blog is all about the trips I have taken... and there have been a lot. I love sharing these with anyone who wants to travel along online or may be thinking about taking similar trips themselves. I hope you enjoy my stories and I would love to hear about your stories as well. After all, we are all in this together.

Planning for a 2020/2021 European Trip

These pics are from our last trip to Europe. That was a great trip. We are planning a trip for December 2020-January 2021 although COVID-19 has the entire world shook up and hiding in place. Still, it does not hurt to look. Can you guess where we are thinking this next trip? Post it in the comments below.

Be well.
