One Night in Rome

We started our 2017 European vacation flying from Atlanta, Georgia to Rome, Italy. We only stayed one night in Rome, just to rest after our 9+ hour trans-Atlantic flight; but we got to see a little of Rome as well. Our trip to Rome last year ended poorly with Troy and I both having the flu so it was great for both of us to come back to this historic city in good health.

My First European Vacation to Italy

My first European vacation to Italy was at the end of 2016 with my brother and our mother. It was a great trip that had a rough ending, but we saw many awe-inspiring sites along the way. While we spent most of the trip in the great city of Rome, we also took day trips to Florence, Naples and Pompeii. Here is my recollection of the trip.
